Superintendent's Annual Report 1995 - 1996, Donald A. Falvey, Superintendent, 1 folder, 69 pages, visitation over 2,000,000. Contains: Resource Management Plan completed. Efforts continue for the implementation of transportation system. $450,000 matching ISTEA funds received for construction of shuttle stops, visitor contact station, and signage in Springdale. Transportation System comprehensive design approved in Aug. Interagency cooperation continues SUPAC. Apr. 12, 1995, landslide North of Canyon Junction closes road and traps 300 guests and 150 employees at Zion Lodge for over 24 hours, site of the 1941 slide. Road closed for 6 weeks. Staff continues to provide data in the 1993 Kolob Creek fatalities. Inspector General Office conducts audit in Tunnel Operations. New dining room completed at Lodge. Evaluations of Concession operators in park. Division reports. Comprehensive Ranger Division reports.
