This is an historic black and white photograph from the Scotty's Castle Historic Photograph Collection, Death Valley National Park of at least nine men in left foreground working at mixing and pouring concrete. Overview of the rest of the building complex showing stages of completed remodeling and on-going construction. Pile of lumber debris behind men. Solar panel and tall blank hot water tank to left. Man in distance at lower edge working in next to stacks of lumber and heavy-walled pipe. Look over roofline of Spanish style house – two sides connected by inner courtyard with arbor. Two workers in trench in distance in front of Spanish style building. Last building in distance two sections connect by courtyard gate. Several ranges of barren hills in background. Inscriptions in black ink along upper and lower border.
