This is an historic black and white photograph from the Scotty's Castle Historic Photograph Collection, Death Valley National Park of busy construction site. Excavated rubble, lumber and worker in foreground. Completed concrete wall to left and middle ground with worker in front. Behind wall is wood forms for tall wall. Behind top of forms is concrete station with mixer, concrete barrow, workers, and bags of concrete. Behind this is a square tower covered with scaffold. Inscriptions in black ink along upper and lower border.
