Utah Parks Group Fire Management Records Finding Aid
This is a finding aid for the Utah Parks Group Fire Management Records created in Zion National Park. The Utah Parks Group, also known as Zion Fire Management, and Utah / Great Basin / Colorado Plateau Fire Management, represents all aspects of the fire and fuels workload and organization in the following National Park Service areas: Bryce Canyon National Park, Capital Reef National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Golden Spike National Historical Park, Pipe Spring National Monument, Timpanogos Cave National Monument, and Zion National Park. Historically, the team stationed at Zion National Park was also responsible for Fire Effects Monitoring, Fire Ecology, Fire Management Planning, and Photo Monitoring at the following National Park Service areas: Arches National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Golden Spike National Historical Park, Great Basin National Park, Lake Mead National Recreational Area, Mesa Verde National Park, and Zion National Park.
