Negative Number: RL_06997
U. S. National Park Service
"The definite front of most westerly lobe of Lyell glacier and most easily measured lobe encountered. We found it necessary to use morainal boulders in marking the line A-B so painted our marks on 5 large rocks along this line. The end points A and B are approximately 300 feet apart. Measuring to the ice front from the third of these markers from either end showed a distance of 21'6"."
