(4-C2) Southwest from about Station 972. In background across lake is bare granite slope. Mr. Adams was worried about road cutting diagonally across this slope. Scar would probably not be too great if it were built in a 'bench' section. Blasted rock cut in center right was cut in two blasts giving a stepped effect which looks good on the ground.
