Two years seasonal ranger in Yosemite, Permanent ranger Lassen, 1930; transferred to Yosemite 1935. Experience includes forests and building fire protection work, training assignments, bldg. inspection prevention and control of forest fires, etc. Military service: Enlisted in mountain troops, trained war dogs, commissioned in Corps of Military Police and supervised German prisoners of war at Fort Lewis, and Walla Walla, Washington. Military service between October 1942 and June 1946 - had previously served with Army Air Corps at March Field as a flying cadet. Married Dorothy Donaldson Hendrix of PArkton, MD. in 1944 - 3 children (one from a former marriage).  copied by Michael Dixon, copied in January 1983
