Died in San Francisco on February 27, 1943 and buried at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetary. Mr. and Mrs. Degnan came to Yosemite in 1884 and set up a bakery business and eventually a store and delicatessen. Provided services to early day visitors to Yosemite.
