The Washburn home in Putney, Vermont. A 500 acre farm, whose chief crop was tobacco. Henry, Edward, John & Julius were raised on this farm. Julius remained there to raise tobacco, maple syrup and children (7) by 3 wives. He lived here all his life but died at the Wawona Hotel in 1907. Hugh Goodell (PHotogr:) was Julius' son-in-law.
