Timothy Carlin land: View northeast from the extreme southwest corner of the northerly eighty acres of the tract. The iron pipe marks the corner, and the road just runs in and out - 100+/- - bearing off to the southeast toward Tuolumne Meadows from the right of the picture. The timber is chiefly red fir and lodge pole. McSwain Meadow was acquired by the NPS in 1936. 1 1/2 sec., no. 2.
