This combined document consists of the General Management Plan, Land Protection Plan, and Widlerness Management and Suitability Review for Noatak national Preserve. The goal of the general management plan is to maintain the area in accordance with the legislative mandates of the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act. The mandates for management of Noatak National Preserve and the designated wilderness meet or exeed and are compatible with the management standards established by the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. River management has been integrated with other aspects of visitor use and resource management for the preserve.
