“Mr Hunt [illegible] I have written to you once or twice since you informed Me you was ready to pay that Money but have Rec’d no answer I will thank you to send it to Charles J. Burnett Post Master in Skaneateles and he will forward it safe to Me what Segars you have not sold please to sell as soon as you can – I am Very Respectfully Yours Wm S. Wood Please to inform Mr Burnett the Money is to be sent to Me inform him the Amount I will Warrant it will come safe - ”
