On front of document: “Delivered to Martin Gage Ten Patent ploughs and five shares the 12th May 1823 to sell on a commission of seven per Cent. The price of the Shares is sixty two and a half cents and we allow him to sell the ploughs for nine dollars cash in hand, nine dollars twenty five cents and take notes which he deems good payable the first September next or nine dollars fifty cents payable the first of January next - D & AP Rusco” On back of document: "D. & A.P. Rusco's delivery of 10 Patent Ploughs & 5 Shares to sell on a Com. of 7 pr Cent. May 12th 1823 - Rec'd of Martin Gage Eight dollars and ninety three cents in full for one plough & 1 Share sold.
