Civil Defense of Capital, 1944
An Autcannon anti-aircraft gun, also known as the ack-ack gun, part of the civil defense protecting the Capital, is mounted overlooking Washington National Airport. The location is likely the Army Navy Country Club golf course, which was once Fort Richardson.
