Southeastern Federation of Negro Women's Clubs - 'Southern Negro Women and Race Cooperation'
Pamphlet produced as a result of a meeting of the Federation in Atlanta, Georgia, June 28-30, 1921. The pamphlet states the position of the Federation and is addressed to Southern white women, lays out the different conditions that affected African-American women and listed recommendations for alleviating these problems. The issues that they addressed in the pamphlet were domestic service, child welfare, travel, education, lynchings, the Press and suffrage. The pamphlet ends with a list of names of the women that submitted the recommendations which includes Mrs. Booker T. Washington, Janie Porter Barrett and Mary McLeod Bethune.
