Portions of the image have been hand tinted in shades of blue. | Inscription: "A Pleasure Party" in ink in block letters by Charles Longfellow. | Notes: 1871-1873 as given in inscription for first item in album. This photograph, identified as Felice Beato's, appeared in Italo Zannier's "Verso Oriente" (Florence, 1986).
