Photographer stamp underneath image: "J.E. Tilton & Co. / Publishers./BOSTON. / Black, / Photographer." Printed circular label for Earle's Galleries and Looking Glass in Philadelphia verso. Notes: C1858. Similar photograph dated C1858. Associated Materials: 3007-1-2-1-4 appears to feature the same chair.
