A 48-star American flag with six rows of eight stars.
Handmade 48-star American flag woven by a ladies' group in Tecumseh, Nebraska, unknown date. This style of flag was used for 47 years from July 4, 1912 to July 3, 1949. Linen, several holes near center. Donor lived in Tecumseh around 1917-1925. The donor's wife, Estelle Blauvelt, may have been part of the ladies' group who made the flag. She grew up on a homestead and timber claim in Gosper County, NE.
