Mature koa trees in a lightly grazed section in Hawaii National Park. Dead canes seen in foreground are all that remains of a mass of koa suchers [?] which grew to a height of 4 feet between October 1940 and June 1942 while cattle were excluded from the park. Locality: Hawaii National Park. No negative on file
