The water around the horse is up to its chest. Behind the cow there is a door to the cattle ramp enclosure swung open. There are three tires hanging on the door. Inside the enclosure there is a man on horseback watching the cow. Also in the water is another man on horseback close to the second door of the enclosure. Behind the enclosure there is a concrete wall with people sitting on top of it. In the background there is a building towards the right side of the image with a “Standard Oil Products” sign on the roof. Along the bottom of the image there are two captions, “Cattle Loading-Kailua, Kona” on the left side and “372” on the right.

Paniolo Catches a Cow off the Ramp in Kailua Kona
