Detail of bottom hinge and door jamb. The pintle on the end of the hinge sets in a hole in the hinge block. A long tenon on the hinge block is mortised thru the log and pinned. Built by John C. Clark, 1881. Restored at Humpback Rocks by NPS, 1952-53
