Osprey (Pandion haliaetus), Fort Matanzas National Monument, 2013.

The osprey has many common names, including fish eagle, sea hawk, river hawk and fish hawk. While the osprey can live in a wide variety of habitats, it prefers to live and nest near bodies of water with an adequate supply of its preferred prey, fish.
