Wheeler fell while commanding regiment. 1 of 6 mns to Indiana. Located on Cross Ave near Sickles. || Smooth, double-layered base 4' square. Polished shaft 1'10", "shingled" apex top w/ polished sphere. All 9'high. Inscription of raised letters on N face of shaft.
