Built in 1931, this building was the home to Kenso Seki, an infamous resident of Kalaupapa. Kenso Seki was a well-known patient, inventor, craftsman, and world traveler. He came to Kalaupapa at the age of 18 and spent 70 years of his life here. His house is typical of a 1930s residential cottage used by healthier adult patients.
