The right side has an exhibit along the wall and two exhibit cases closer to the middle of the room. Next to the door on the right is a small children’s table with coloring sheets.
Pinckney-Porter’s Chapel is a single room building with an exhibit titled “Frontlines of Freedom” about the 1st South Carolina Volunteers and Camp Saxton. The exhibit panels are on the right side of the room. Two exhibit cases sit in the center of the building with replica objects related to the exhibit. On the left side of the building there is a place to sit with information about Prince Rivers, a sergeant from the 1st South Carolina Volunteers. On the front wall by the front entrance is the children’s activity table. The information desk where a ranger or volunteer is stationed is in the back right corner of the building. Behind the information desk is the accessible bathroom and the water fountain. The accessible entrance to the building is on the back left wall across from the bathroom.
