Second Floor - Room 2-17: Stair and Passageway
This space contains the staircase leading up from the first floor and a separate staircase providing access to the attic. The walls have plaster surfaces, stud framed with machine-made lath holding the plaster. Along the top of the walls, a paint boundary forms a border area. Flooring in the passageway consists of tongue and groove boards, blind nailed, with no joints over the span of the room.
