2020 Manure Pile Buttress rock fall
A rock fall source area at the top of a steep cliff, with impact areas and talus deposit on the slope below.
A rock fall resulted in a fresh-looking rock fall scar on the south side of the buttress located between Commissioner Buttress and Split Pinnacle. The failure consisted of a narrow slanting rock pillar that fell vertically from the steep cliff, striking another pillar to the west; both pillars are missing in the new scar.
