Ahwiyah Point rock fall
A large fresh boulder just beyond the trail. A person for scale stands next to the boulder and points.
A large rock fall from Ahwiyah Point. Many new boulders fell on or beyond the Mirror Lake Loop Trail (rebuilt in 2012) below Ahwiyah Point. The largest boulders were generally on the eastern portion of the trail, but fresh rock debris extended laterally on the trail across the entire fresh talus from a rock fall in 2009.
