1. Upper Hotel called Hutching's Hotel. 
2. Leidig's Hotel
3. Woolen Mill at Merced Falls. According to Bill Stevenson, the dam was built to operate the woolen mill, which his grandfather John J. Jordan ran. Both this grandfathers - Jordan and Stevenson - were pioneers in that area. Both fought for the Union in the Civil War, both were prisoners at Libby Prison, where they met each other first. Later, they met in Merced Country where George J. Stevenson was a rancher at Snelling. Their children met there. Stevensons also ran the hotel at Merced Falls. George J. Stevenson was in partnership with a man who was a Southern sympathizer. They had a break-up and their neighbors aggravated the situation by carrying tales from one to the other. Finally, Stevenson was tipped off that his former partner was going to kill him the next time he appeared. In front of the Courthouse at Sneeling, they met and the former partner opened fire on Stevenson as he was dismounting from his horse. Stevenson returned fire, killing the
