Boston National Historical Park
United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, in partnership with the National Parks of Boston, held a naturalization ceremony at the Bunker Hill Monument. Two hundred-fifty new citizen candidates were sworn in and received a Passport to their National Parks. Following the ceremony, new citizens were invited to plant the first 250 flags of the 1500 flags to create a Memorial Flag Garden. This event occurred as part of the commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill (June 17, 1775).
