Album: Return of Historic Marksmanship Medals to Springfield Armory NHS

Springfield Armory National Historic Site

On May 17th, 2023 a ceremony was held at Springfield Armory National Historic Site returning 24 marksmanship medals that were stolen from the Armory decades ago. The ceremony included individuals from the FBI, the U.S. Attorney's Office, and the National Park Service. The medals were awarded to Milan Bull and Freeman Bull were members of the Massachusetts Volunteer Militia and both worked at Springfield Armory.
