Prairie Day celebrates life of the Missouri prairie during the late 1800's when George Washington Carver was a child. The annual event includes basket weaving, candle-making, Dutch-oven cooking, spinning, weaving, storytelling, musical groups, quitting, junior ranger station, education resources exhibitors, and more.
