Album: NPS honors fallen military service members with a wreath-laying ceremony

National Capital Regional Director Kym Hall and other National Capital Region employees joined the U.S. Army Military District of Washington, led by Major General Allan Pepin, at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery on September 12 to lay a ceremonial wreath. NPS employees and their family members watched the Changing of the Guard, Regional Director Hall placed the wreath at the Tomb, and the group took a tour of the Display Room in the Memorial Amphitheater. The ceremony highlighted the partnership between NPS and the U.S. Army while also honoring those who served.
