Olympic National Park

The Park Headquarters site is adjacent to the Olympic National Park Visitor Center just outside the city limits of Port Angeles, Washington. It is significant for association with Depression Era and Federal Relief Programs, which played a role in the property's development. The architecture and landscape design used at the Headquarters are excellent examples of the late rustic style principles, as Olympic National Park and the National Park Service transitioned from NPS Rustic style to the Mission 66 style. The original design as laid out in the 1942 master plan is still intact.
