Canyonlands National Park

Tug Wilson visited the area that would later become Canyonlands National Park many times during the 1950s with his father, Bates. Bates Wilson was superintendent of Arches National Monument and Natural Bridges National Monument (1949-1972), and later Canyonlands National Park when it was established in 1964.
