Replica Log Cabin

White marble grave marker, rectangular at the bottom, comes to a point at the top. Text: Nancy Hanks Lincoln mother of President Lincoln, died Oct 5 AD 1818 Aged 25 years, erected by friend of her martyred son 1879. Green grass all around, trees and iron fence in background.  Pennies on the ground in front of the grave.

Grave of Nancy Hanks Lincoln, mother of Abraham Lincoln. The grave is located in the Pioneer Cemetery at Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial.

Large square of logs and on one side of square are several stones piled on top of each other creating a hearth.  Low stone wall surrounds the square on three sides. Green grass grows within the wall and square.  Trees and split-rail fence in background.
