The Captain Avery Museum, a Chesapeake Gateways Network site, hosted its 28th Annual Oyster Festival with great food, live regional music, local vendors, and plenty of community spirit. Held on the museum’s scenic lawn along the West River, this year’s festival featured more bands, more vendors, and even more fun. It remains the museum’s biggest fundraiser and a beloved celebration of Chesapeake culture.
