Quitobaquito is an oasis in the desert for many different species of animals. This spring fed pond also holds spiritual significance for many Native American groups in the area.

Dos Lomitas Ranch (Blankenship Well) was owned by the Gray Family. The main house was built in the 1920's and entire family of 9 lived there.

The Gachado Line Camp main house is a great example of vernacular architecture, which means that the house was entirely built using materials found naturally near by. (Special Note: The boarder fence currently being installed in Organ Pipe can be seen in the image.)
