Virginia Industrial School for Colored Girls - letter from Janie Porter Barrett to Maggie L. Walker
Written by the Superintendent of the Virginia Industrial School for Colored Girl who mentions that they were disappointed that Walker did not attend their annual exercises. She asks that Walker attend their meeting in Suffolk and give an impromptu speech in response to a speech to be given by Mrs. Ames, the head of the Women's Division on Interracial Cooperation in Atlanta.
