Copy photograph of bust of a bearded Longfellow in marble by Hiram Powers. The view is nearly frontal. Inscription: "48. Mr Longfellow / H Powers / Florence" written in ink in cursive verso. Photographer stamp includes "Studio Fotografico / Di / L. Powers / . . .. / Firenze." Notes: C1869. Statue presumably done 1868-1869 when Longfellow visited Florence. carte-de-visite originally filed in Mss. Box "Accession 69 / Uncatalogued Material Associated with Longfellow." Associated Materials: 3007-1-2-1-56 shows a different view.
