Inscription: "1869?" written in pencil verso. Photographer stamp includes "Elliott & Fry / Copyright / 55, Baker Street / Portman Square. W. [London]" underneath image and verso.
Notes: 1868. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow sat for Fry by 23 July 1868 as he sent Julia Margaret Cameron one of their photographs of him (#2681, fn.2, Letters, ed. Hilen, V).
