The Custer Group with a Wooden Cross for George Armstrong Custer's Marker
LIBI_00300_10562; Black and white photograph mounted on cardboard. This image depicts the Custer grouping of markers with a wooden cross for George Custer. U.S. Flags have been placed on the markers. People are visible in the background. There is a small tear in the upper right corner of the cardboard and there are light brown stains throughout the mount. A handwritten note on the verso reads: “Memorial Day, Custer Battlefield 1897 N Trall [?] Parrons”.
