The image shows a group of eight people in front of the fence surrounding the Custer monument. The names of the eight people are printed in gold at the bottom of the image. They read (top to bottom, left to right): “Corp’l Hall, Dr. Porter, Capt Godfrey, Col. Benteen, Capt. Edgerley, Capt. McDougal, Private Penwall, Scout White Swan.” The words “Custer Monument.” is printed in black ink on the bottom of the card. It was produced by D.F. Barry.
