Alt Text Detail map of Little River Falls in Little River Canyon National Preserve in Alabama. The terrain is shown in light green, the Little River in blue, roads in red or yellow, and trails as dashed black lines. Extended Description The Little River bends like a hairpin up from the bottom right corner to reach up and across about half the map. Little River Falls is just below the uppermost curve of the river, which hooks around the Little River Falls pullout, which has parking, picnic areas, and restrooms. A darker green line indicates the Preserve Boundary near the left edge of the map. The line is mostly vertical except for a triangular section near the top left corner of the map. State Route 35 runs east-west, entering the preserve south of the triangular section near an arrow labeled “To Fort Payne.” The road crosses the Little River near the falls and then continues down and to the right. An arrow where it extends off the right edge of the map is labeled “To Rome, Georgia and Centre, Alabama.” The Little River Canyon Center is immediately north of the triangular section. Bridge Trail angles toward the lower right corner as it crosses Little River Falls and ends at the Little River Falls pullout area. Another trail extends off the bottom edge of the map. A spur near the Little River Falls pullout leads up to an Observation Deck. A road moves from the Little River Canyon Center to meet State Route 35 to the left of the bridge, and it continues as Little River Canyon Rim Parkway. Legend A scale in the top right corner of the map measures 500 meters and 1,000 feet.
