Extended Description The rectangular district has straight east and south sides, a shallowly stepped northern border, and a rippling west edge. The inner edges of the border are shaded orange, and the district is labeled with an orange callout box. Two green-shaded areas along the left half of the southern border are labeled National Park Service property. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive runs vertically through the park just inside the straight, east boundary. The road continues “To US Route 21 and Beaufort” off the top edge of the map, and Melody Lane branches east from MLK Drive near the top right corner. Brick Baptist Church is labeled in green between MLK Drive and the eastern boundary. York W. Bailey Museum and the Welcome Center are labelled black in the lower right quadrant of the park. Darrah Hall is labeled in green just inside the NPS property, and there is a parking area there as well. Capers Creek runs vertically along the left edge of the map.
