Alt Text Map of William Howard Taft National Historic Site in Ohio. The site is in the upper middle, in Cincinnati, among beige land and red and black streets. The blue Ohio River, and Ohio-Kentucky state line, undulates across the lower third of the map. Extended Description William Howard Taft National Historic Site is on Auburn Avenue, between Christ Hospital to the west and Interstate 71’s Exit 2 on the right. The Parking entrance is off of Auburn Avenue, on Southern Avenue near Young Street. Interstate 71 comes down from the top right edge of the map, running south, then curving west before crossing over the Ohio River, then off the bottom edge of the map, where it has joined Interstate 75. All of the interstates and US highways that venture off the sides of the map lead to Interstate 275. Interstate 75, also known as US Highway 52, extends from the top left edge of the map and runs south through Cincinnati, east of the Museum Center at Ezzard Charles Drive, and then off the bottom of the map. US Highway 50 comes from the map’s left edge, above the Ohio River, crossing through Cincinnati, where it splits off into 6th Street and 5th Street, then reunifies as Columbia Parkway, then follows the river up and off the right edge of the map. Interstate 471 branches off of Interstate 71 somewhere above the river, then continues southeast off the map’s bottom right corner. Paul Brown Stadium is near the river, between Interstate 71/75 and Roebling Bridge. Fountain Square is north, near the intersection of 5th and Main Streets. On the other side of Roebling Bridge, below Interstate 71, is the Great American Ballpark. Taft Museum of Art is on Pike Street, near the point where 5th and 6th Streets rejoin as Columbia Parkway, just before Interstate 471. The Museum of Art is farther north, in the Eden Park area, between Interstate 71 and Columbia Parkway. Continuing north, beyond Eden Park Drive is the Krohn Conservatory. Legend A scale in the bottom left corner shows distances of 0.5 mile and 1 mile and 0.5 kilometer and 1 kilometer.
