Extended Description Interstate 190, also labeled the Niagara Section-New York State Thruway, runs parallel to the Niagara River in the top left corner of the map and Lake Erie down the left side. The thruway separates the city from Lasalle Park along the coastline of Lake Erie. An arrow at the top edge of the thruway indicates that it continues north “To Niagara Falls.” Porter Avenue intersects the thruway at Exit N9 and runs parallel to the interstate. Virginia Street does the same about halfway down the map at Exit N8. Near the bottom edge, State Route 5, also labeled Buffalo Skyway. branches off of the thruway at Exit N7 and travels past the Memorial Auditorium. Niagara Street intersects both Porter Avenue and Virginia Street two blocks east of the thruway, and a grid of diagonal streets nearly reaches the right edge of the map. Porter Avenue angles down to run parallel to the top edge of the map, turning into North Street after Symphony Circle. Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site is located at the intersection of North Street and Delaware Avenue. A parking lot at the site is accessible via Franklin Street one block east. Other notable landmarks near the site include Niagara Square a mile south on Delaware Avenue. Four blocks east is Lafayette Square, which sits between Washington Street and Buffalo Place Mall. Dunn Tire Park is to the south off Seneca Street near Exit N6 of Interstate 190. Across 190 near Exit N7 is the Memorial Auditorium Buffalo Skyway.
