Extended Description On the coastline of the northern tip of the island are Creque Marine Railway and Royal Mail Steam Packet Company. Shipley’s Battery Trail begins near Creque Marine Railway and winds south to Shipley’s Battery, still in the top section of the island. Careening Cove cuts into the island coast about halfway down the eastern side. Just below it, Shipley’s Battery Trail ends at a site labeled Hamburg American Line. Officers’ Quarters Trail branches off Shipley’s Battery Trail and continues south to Cowell’s Battery, near the southern tip. From there, Cowell’s Trail leads east to Prince Frederick’s Battery.
