Extended Description

The park is crisscrossed by roads that intersect just outside the middle of the park, near a site labeled Sunken Road. Red arrows and dashed lines represent Confederate positions, and blue arrows show Union positions.

Two red dashed lines, labeled D.H. Hill, sit at Sunken Road, in the upper middle of the park. A red arrow labeled Anderson swoops in from the left toward these red dashes, while two blue lines labeled French, Sumner, and Richardson swoop down toward the red dashes.

Three dashed red lines sit northwest of this site, while two red lines sit below, outside of the park and near a grid, presumably representing a town. Three other red lines sit further south, along Antietam Creek.
