Alt Text Area map of Saratoga National Historical Park. The park, shown in green at the bottom of the map, is shaped like a squat letter E and borders the blue Hudson River. Several noted historical sites, shown as small green patches, are clustered near Schuylerville at the top of the map. Extended Description Saratoga’s Park Tour Road is shown as a squiggly yellow line, like a cooked spaghetti noodle, winding through the park. Three major roads in the area, US Highway 4 and State Routes 32 and 29, are shown as red lines, while other roads are black lines. US Highway 4 runs along the Hudson River, stretching from the top and trailing off the bottom. Text on the north edge reads, “To Glens Falls,” and text on the bottom edge reads, “To Albany.” State Route 32 comes out of US Highway 4 in a V shape, then cuts horizontally across the bottom left corner of Saratoga National Historical Park. Continuing west toward Malta, exit 12, and Interstate 87, State Route 32 becomes State Route 423 around Local Road 75. Closer to the park, State Route 32 hooks north and runs parallel to the park’s westernmost edge, past the Visitor Center at the northwest corner, and continues north. Once it links with Local Road 68, State Route 32 veers northeast until it intersects US Highway 4 near the other historical sites. Connecting from US Highway 4, State Route 29 stretches from the top of the map, above the historical sites, and continues west toward Saratoga Springs. North of the park, between State Route 32 and US Highway 4, right along Duell Road, which curves down and runs through the top of the park after crossing Wilbur Road, is Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Clockwise from the top right, the other historical sites are as follows. Schuyler House is on the east side of US Highway 4, near State Route 29, and just west of the Hudson. Saratoga Surrender Site is on the other side of US Highway 4, near Schuyler Street. Victory Woods is on the west side of State Route 32, near where that road meets US Highway 4. Saratoga Monument is right on the edge of Schuylerville, near Burgoyne Street. Legend The scale in the bottom left corner measures distances of 1 mile and 2 miles, and 1 kilometer and 2 kilometers.
